Cleaning in Vancouver
Cleaning is the one category here where the useful distinction is not what gets cleaned but how deep. A standard clean maintains a home that is already in reasonable order; a deep or turnover clean resets one that is not.
Standard, deep and turnover cleans
A standard clean is maintenance: floors, surfaces, kitchen, bathrooms, dusting and general tidying, priced at $290 for a typical two-bedroom on a three-hour visit. It assumes the home is broadly in order and keeps it that way.
A deep clean goes after what a standard clean passes over — inside the oven and fridge, behind and under what moves, skirtings, window tracks, limescale, extractor filters. It runs $580–$1,100 on size and condition. A turnover or move-out clean is a deep clean with a different standard: it has to satisfy a landlord or a buyer, not just you.
Products and equipment
We bring everything — machines, cloths, products. If you would prefer we use something specific, whether for a fragile surface, an allergy, a pet or simply a preference, leave it out and tell us; we would far rather use your product on your marble than explain afterwards why the finish changed.
The surfaces worth flagging in advance are natural stone, waxed or oiled wood, and anything with a delicate coating. These are damaged by ordinary products used in good faith, and the damage is not reversible. Thirty seconds of warning prevents it entirely.
Access, keys and scheduling
You do not need to be home. Most regular cleaning happens with nobody there, by arrangement — a key, a lockbox code, a concierge, or a smart lock code that we use and you can revoke. Whatever the arrangement, we agree it in writing beforehand rather than improvising on the day.
We work every day, 6am–10pm, which makes it practical to schedule around a workday at either end rather than only in the middle of it. Regular slots hold the same day and time so it becomes something you stop thinking about, which is rather the point.

Common questions
What does a standard clean include?
Floors, surfaces, kitchen, bathrooms, dusting and general tidying — maintenance of a home already in reasonable order, at $290 for a typical two-bedroom over about three hours. Ovens, fridges, skirtings, window tracks and moving furniture belong to a deep clean, which is a different and longer job.
Do I need to be home?
No, and most regular customers are not. We work from an agreed arrangement — a key, a lockbox, a concierge or a smart lock code you can revoke — settled in writing before the first visit rather than sorted out on the doorstep.
Do you bring supplies?
Everything, including machines. If you would rather we used your own products — for natural stone, oiled wood, an allergy or a pet — leave them out and say so. Please do flag delicate surfaces in advance; ordinary products used in good faith on stone or waxed wood cause damage that cannot be undone.
